We provide customized web pages for you.

Using our customize system they turn from our bookselling page into your ecommerce web page selling your products.

These pages are instantly on the web at our location.

Customizing your SecureCottage Sample Web Pages.

Once you sign up for the 30 day free trial, you will be asked for a directory name, so that a free web directory can be set up on our web pages.

In this web directory are sample ecommerce web pages, all that is necessary to do ecommerce with SecureCottage. You will customize portions of these web pages so that they become your Ecommerce web pages. SecureCottage provides you with a skeleton of a web page and you provide the clothes.

You can get working Ecommerce web pages up and running on the Internet within two to three hours this way. In conjunction with the Paypal option (and the time spent obtaining a paypal merchant account) you can be accepting real time credit card payments on the Internet within an afternoon. And all this without any upfront fees.

Most of what you provide will be simple text that describes the product you are trying to sell. But there will be one image asked for, per item sold, a JPG or a GIF. This image should be between 200X200 pixels to 400X400 pixels wide. You can use the Windows Accessory Paint to resize existing pictures if you wish. The image picture should ideally be between 10K to 30K of space on the disk drive.

You can do all your customization from your profile web page. See the main menu for this.

You will need to do three things to fully customize SecureCottage Ecommerce web pages.

  1. Customize your order pages so that the price, a picture of the product, and other text descriptions are on the new web page. You can have between 1 and 10 items being sold on this web page.
  2. Customize your Invoice Web Page. The Invoice page is entered once your client hits checkout on the order web page. You need to put your business name, address, currency charged, and other details on this input form. You will also decide whether SecureCottage does the Credit Processing or whether Paypal does the credit card processing. See the Paypal option on the main menu for more information on this.
  3. Declare what credit cards you will accept. From this form you can accept or deny the main four credit cards
    • Visa
    • Mastercard
    • Bankcard
    • American Express
And you can declare five other credit cards that you support if you wish. You may have to use this page because, for instance, many banks accept Visa, Mastercard and Bankcard payments, but do not accept American Express payment. You don't want to have an order that you cannot service because you have accepted a credit card payment from a credit card company you cannot process.
